关于我们
The lawyers at Pritzker Hageman law firm help injured people obtain justice, get fair compensation, and hold accountable those who caused them harm. They have won multimillion-dollar cases for their clients against manufacturers, retailers, restaurants, hotels, truck companies and others, including $45 million for clients injured by a defective product that caused kidney failure and $10 million for a man who was severely burned in a propane explosion. Attorney Fred Pritzker built the firm on the principle that clients always come first: "I've represented thousands of people in injury and wrongful death cases. Clients want to be treated with dignity and respect. They want an experienced lawyer; someone to guide them through a difficult time. I think we do that about as well as it can be done." The firm represents clients throughout the United States in cases involving food poisoning, product liability, Legionnaires’ disease, commercial truck accidents and wrongful death. They are some of the few attorneys in the nation who help people with E. coli infections who develop hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS) and thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP). Pritzker Hageman lawyers have been quoted by The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, Associated Press and many other news publications. Fred Pritzker has spoken at Harvard Law School, Cornell University and other venues about food safety issues. He is listed in the current edition of The Best Lawyers in America.

Our food safety legal team is investigating a long-running and deadly Listeria outbreak linked to nutritional shakes served in hospitals and long-term care facilities. ?????? ?????????????? ?????? ????????????????: ? 38 people infected across 21 states ? 37 hospitalizations ? 12 deaths The recalled frozen supplemental shakes, manufactured by Prairie Farms and distributed by Lyons Magnus under the brands Lyons ReadyCare and Sysco Imperial, have been making people sick since 2018. Listeria is especially dangerous for patients with weakened immune systems. What should have been a trusted source of daily nutrition instead became a serious health threat to those least able to fight infection. At Pritzker Hageman, we’ve seen firsthand how devastating foodborne illnesses can be - not just for those who fall ill, but for their families as well. Food safety failures like this are entirely preventable. When food companies fail to follow proper food safety standards, they put lives at risk. Holding them accountable is a critical step in obtaining justice for those affected and preventing future tragedies. Read more about the outbreak: https://lnkd.in/gMPKxENd

Scald burns are one of the leading causes of burn injuries in young children. We’ve seen firsthand how scald burns can cause lifelong harm, and we fight for families whose lives are forever changed by these preventable injuries. This week, we join the American Burn Association in raising awareness about preventing burn injuries in the home. One serious hazard is alcohol-fueled fireplaces and tabletop burners, which have been linked to devastating burn injuries and in some cases, even death. These products are sold as safe and easy to use, but they pose a severe burn risk due to the nearly invisible nature of alcohol-based flames, which can ignite explosive flash fires. At Pritzker Hageman, we've seen firsthand how these preventable tragedies forever change lives. Burn injuries like these often aren't caused by consumer misuse - they happen because manufacturers cut corners on safety and product design. No one should have to live with lifelong injuries from a product that should never have been on the market in the first place. In December 2024, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission warned against these products, urging consumers to stop using them and retailers to remove them from shelves. Our burn injury legal team is committed to advocating for burn survivors and their families, demanding accountability from manufacturers, and fighting for justice on behalf of our clients. If you or a loved one has suffered a serious burn injury, we are here to help. Learn more about taking legal action after a burn injury: https://lnkd.in/gWcH4GRF #NBAW #FireSafety #BurnPrevention

Our firm is representing three Minnesotans who were hospitalized with severe E. coli infections after eating undercooked burgers at Red Cow. The tainted meat was linked back to its distributor, Wolverine Packing Co. Foodborne illnesses are preventable, and holding food companies accountable is essential to protecting public health. As our managing partner, Eric Hageman told The Minnesota Star Tribune: "E. coli is an invisible pathogen, so people can’t protect themselves; we rely on the food supplier to keep it safe and, of course, the restaurant as well to thoroughly cook it." At Pritzker Hageman, we fight for people harmed by foodborne illnesses, holding negligent food companies - including manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, restaurants, and grocery stores - accountable and pushing for safer food practices. No one should suffer serious illness from something as simple as going out to eat. If you or someone you know has been affected by E. coli or another foodborne illness, we’re here to help. Emerging research has linked the long-term use of Depo-Provera, a popular injectable contraceptive, to a significantly increased risk of meningiomas - tumors that develop in the brain and spinal cord. While these tumors are often classified as benign, they can cause severe health complications, including vision loss, seizures, and cognitive decline. At Pritzker Hageman, our all-female Depo-Provera legal team, led by attorneys Alicia Penner and Morgan Vanden Heuvel, J.D., is dedicated to investigating these cases and supporting women affected by these serious health risks. We are committed to holding manufacturers accountable for failing to adequately warn patients about the potential dangers associated with Depo-Provera. This January, we’re calling on our community to help make a difference during #NationalBloodDonorMonth. The American Red Cross provides 40% of our nation’s blood supply, and the need for blood donations is more urgent than ever. Recent natural disasters like blizzards in the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic and the devastating wildfires in Southern California have severely disrupted donations. Blood drives have been canceled, donation centers have lost power, and critical blood supplies have been destroyed. Hospitals and healthcare providers rely on a steady blood supply to provide lifesaving care. If you’re able to donate blood, it’s one small but impactful way to help support our community during these difficult times. Every donation matters and helps ensure that patients receive the care they need. We invite you to join us at our Red Cross community blood drive on Thursday, January 16th at Machine Shop Minneapolis. Together, we can help make a difference. Schedule your appointment: pritzlaw.us/donateblood For more information on how to support wildfire relief efforts or to schedule a donation at a blood drive near you, please visit the Red Cross’s website: https://rdcrss.org/3Wd0rdp. Those who donate through January 26th will also be entered for a chance to win a trip to the Super Bowl.
