?? A new study supporting the Pritikin ICR program was recently published in the Journal of Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation and Prevention. This study, titled "Comparison of Traditional and Intensive Cardiac Rehabilitation on Dietary Behavior and Clinical Risk Factor Outcomes," assessed the differences in both dietary behavior and clinical risk factor outcomes among patients participating in traditional cardiac rehab (CR) and Pritikin intensive cardiac rehabilitation (ICR).?Although participation in either program yielded cardiometabolic benefits, Pritikin ICR patients exhibited significantly greater improvements in dietary behavior and clinical risk factors.
