Prism Real Estate Services, LLC (PRES) was founded in 2012 under the name Principal Real Estate Services to provide first class management, maintenance, and accounting services for our growing multifamily investment portfolio. Since then, our management services have grown to include office, residential, retail and industrial properties for our own portfolio, as well as third party clients. In addition, PRES affiliate services have expanded from investment services to include construction services and lawn and landscape services, providing for vertical integration and value add for our investors and clients. That’s a wrap! I have spent the last 10 weeks with Prism Real Estate Services, LLC and I cannot express enough gratitude for my experience. During my time with Prism I got to underwrite multifamily and industrial deals, attend development meetings with the general contractor for our townhomes project, help lease new office and industrial space, oversee TI projects as well as office demolition jobs, walk two of our multifamily assets alongside prospective buyers with brokers and property managers, and construct bid pricing sheets with our construction team. I would first like to thank Jeremy Antes for giving me the incredible opportunity and Howard Jacobson for connecting us. My base of knowledge for the industry compounded two-fold this summer, and I am excited that I have so much more to learn. Next, I would like to thank Aaron Price, Zachary Bassin, Missy Dray, MBA, SHRM-CP, Bill McFarland Jr., Tyler Waddell, Aly Noland, and Kelly Hill for all of their continued support and mentorship towards me. Getting to experience every aspect of the company is what made my experience so special and gave me a full circle perspective. This week, Prism sold a 12,500 square foot neighborhood center in Olathe, Kansas and exchanged those proceeds into a sale leaseback at 2615 NE Hagan in Lee's Summit, Missouri. This single user building occupied by Tingle Flooring adds 90,000 square feet to our commercial portfolio!
