Yesterday, I had the honor of being invited to the White House’s Classroom to Careers Summit where President Biden, the First Lady, and the Secretaries of Commerce, Education, Labor, and Transportation highlighted the importance workforce development and education programs have on the United States’ economic vitality. Workforce development and education programs are not social safety net programs; they drive economic growth, innovation, and are the driving force behind the American dream. We are a nation of a working people, and I’m eager to see how the next administration will build upon that sentiment!

While FEMA has the responsibility to return Americans to safety, it is the U.S. Small Business Administration that has resources for small businesses, notably in the form of long-term, low interest loans that can get people back on their feet (including non-profits). Details: - Loans up to $2 million - Interest rates not exceeding 4% - Repayment terms up to 30 years - First payment deferred for 12 months - No interest accrual for the first 12 months More from SBA is below and I encourage any small businesses not to wait or refrain from accessing these.
