Happy #STEAMDay ?? ?? ?? ? ! Today we highlight Megan Robison, Product Stewardship Manager at Printpack. She participated in a panel this week at #PackExpo24 for the Girl Scouts Program. This year, the Society of Plastics Engineers and Institute of Packaging Professionals (IoPP) partnered to bring an introduction to Sustainable Packaging to Girl Scouts during which each Girl Scout earned a Sustainable Packaging Patch and Wonders of Polymer Science Patch. Some of the hands-on activities included: · Learning what a polymer is and why it is easy to mold into many shapes · Using polycaprolactone, a biodegradable and biomass-feedstock plastic to demonstrate why thermoplastics are easily mechanically recycled · And More!
