The Princeton in Asia fellowship application is live! PiA fellowships are immersive, transformative, paid professional fellowships for recent graduates of any college or university at host organizations across Asia. PiA fellowships contribute to PiA’s mission of promoting mutual appreciation and cross-cultural understanding between the United States and Asia and offer Fellows long-lasting benefits. A change in perspective. By immersing themselves in new cultures and communities, building relationships, and approaching daily interactions with emphasis on mutual respect and understanding, Fellows gain new perspectives on their host and home communities in the United States and Asia and how to communicate and collaborate across differences. A job that matters. By dedicating themselves to professional service in the organizations where they work and the communities where they live, Fellows contribute to important work in the focus areas of arts and culture, economic development, education, environmental sustainability, public health, sports, STEM, and peace, justice and access to information. A community for life. By embracing PiA’s mission of promoting mutual appreciation and cross-cultural understanding and building relationships in their host communities, host organizations and within PiA, Fellows expand and strengthen PiA’s global, intergenerational network.? We seek candidates who are resourceful, mature, resilient, adaptable, and eager to embrace the transformative experience offered by a PiA fellowship. A commitment to PiA’s mission, a strong work ethic, and professionalism are required to navigate the challenges and opportunities of a PiA fellowship. Strong applicants come from a wide background of majors and academic backgrounds and represent diverse backgrounds and perspectives from across the United States and beyond. Learn more at https://lnkd.in/e8z-cyjC and apply by November 1.
