Princeton is both excited and deeply honored to announce that the Massachusetts Apartment Association (MAA) has named two of our communities—3200 Washington in Jamaica Plain and River Place Towers in Lowell—as finalists for the 2024 MAA President's & Achievement Awards! 3200 Washington has been nominated for Small Community of the Year, and River Place Towers has been nominated for Affordable Housing Community of the Year. The MAA, one of the top 20 largest chapters of the National Apartment Association (NAA), represents owners and managers of over 189,000 units across Massachusetts. It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our founder and chairman, James Herscot. Mr. Herscot passed away on October 5, surrounded by his family.?? ? Mr. Herscot founded Princeton Properties in 1973.?His unwavering dedication to the company, exceptional work ethic, and commitment to philanthropy were unparalleled. A visionary leader, his passion fueled the growth and success of Princeton Properties into the organization we know today. We have all been privileged to be part of Mr. Herscot’s remarkable legacy. ? Services will be held at Temple Beth Elohim, 10 Bethel Rd., Wellesley on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 10:30am. Interment to follow at Beit Olam East Cemetery, Wayland. This year, for Princeton's office holiday charity event, we are excited to be partnering with The Movement Family in Lawrence, MA, to help individuals within our community who need it most. "The Movement Family is a program designed for anyone looking for a second family in life. We are here for those seeking love, guidance, and support or just trying to connect with others and make a difference in this world. TMF holds a bi-weekly meeting for members to learn about themselves and other members in the program. TMF is hugely connected to the community and its members look at this group as a family. They work together to set an example, advocate for the less fortunate, spread awareness around social issues, and simply make the world a better place for all of us." We are extremely fortunate to have one of our Princeton Properties employees deeply involved with this cause, and thus she was able to procure a list of names with a gift they are in need of for the winter.
