The Bunbury Fund of the?Princeton Area Community Foundation?has awarded more than $3.8 million in grants to more than four dozen local nonprofits, marking the final phase of its $17 million Sunset Awards. As part of its sunsetting process, the Fund has distributed a total of $17,139,000 across 74 grants to 55 organizations, concluding its 75-year philanthropic legacy that began with The Bunbury Company. The Fund transitioned to a donor-advised fund at the Community Foundation in 2015, and its sunset grants mark the culmination of a decade of impactful giving.

? Excited. Honored. Inspired. Today marked the beginning of a new chapter as I completed my orientation as a Trustee for the Princeton Area Community Foundation (PACF). PACF is a powerhouse for good - strengthening our communities by driving impactful philanthropy and supporting organizations that create positive change. What makes this even more special? The incredible people I get to serve alongside - kindred spirits who are deeply committed to making a difference. It is a privilege to collaborate with PACF’s new CEO, Mathieu Nelessen, whom I first met over a decade ago and have long admired for his leadership and vision. I'm also thrilled to be on this journey with the exceptional Nelida Valentin, new board members Dan Fatton, Theo Kim, and esteemed board members like John Thurber and Marygrace Billek, whose dedication and experience continue to inspire me. I could not have asked for a more compassionate, hardworking, and brilliant team to embark on this journey with. We are honored to have received a Transformational Grant from The Bunbury Fund at the Princeton Area Community Foundation. This is the culmination of many years of support and partnership from The Bunbury Fund and The Bunbury Fund Advisors that have contributed to making NonProfitConnect what it is today. We will be using this grant to expand our impact on nonprofits in the Greater Mercer County area. We are excited to have begun the first phase of our ability to offer increased services by starting the search process for our new Director of Operations.
