Congratulations to former U.S. Attorney Erek Barron as he completes his service as the first Black U.S. Attorney from Maryland. PGCMC was an early supporter of Erek Barron when he ran for Delegate from District 24. https://lnkd.in/e7XBBvqv

PGCMC and Members of the Prince George's County community joined Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and United Maryland Muslim Council to organize Maryland Muslim Lobby Day in Annapolis on February 17th. Bills supported included ending the EO that prohibits Boycott of Foreign Countries to be eligible for Maryland contracts, an Anti-Doxxing Legislation that affects youth and support of DEI in Maryland. Lobby efforts to support these bills continues throughout session.

College Students! Learn how affect the public policies that affect your life and your community. The application process is open for the 2025 Cohort of Emerging County Leaders (ECL). ECL is a paid internship program for college students that reside in the DMV who are interested in learning more about public policy and advocacy. The information to apply is below.
