When the US Navy has obsolescence problems, they rely on Prime Technology! ? Our new Model 9235 digital bargraph was designed to be a direct replacement for an obsolete tachometer for a critical application on board CVN Nimitz-Class aircraft carriers. ? Shown below is one shipset (8 indicators per carrier) undergoing the “burn-in” procedure – operation at maximum input and maximum brightness, for 100 hours in a 130°F room. This process helps to weed out any infant mortality and improve long-term reliability. ? The Model 9235 indicator can also be configured as a voltmeter or ammeter (with custom printed scales/divisions/fonts), and can be used as a replacement for all industry-standard 4.5” square analog meters.
