Our Jacksonville office presented their 4th Annual Cabaret Haiti Mission Charity Golf Tournament! Cabaret Haiti Mission (CHM) operates an orphanage, caring for 39 children, a school, teaching and feeding over 1,000 children, and employs over 100 Haitians. Additionally, they support two community churches, adult education, and a medical clinic. The funds raised go directly to this cause, which means so much right now given the extreme gang violence and take-over in the country. On Friday, August 30th, we were able to help raise $27,000 for CHM alongside our clients, subconsultants, peers, friends, and family. Check out these photos from the completed American Water Operations Center on the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH! This project provides American Water with a permanent operations center on base to efficiently provide a safe and sustainable drinking and wastewater system. In a great showcase of our collaborative disciplines, PRIME AE provided architecture, civil, structural, MEP, design, engineering, estimating, and construction administration services. The new building is a Pre-Engineered Metal Building given the tight project budget, but customized to complement the surrounding architecture, given the design-guidelines of the base. These unique customizations include exterior colors, arched entrance canopy, and stonework that reflect the design elements of the older, pre-existing buildings.

On this day, we remember the lives lost, the heroes who emerged, and the resilience of our nation. We will never forget.

Our Akron architecture team is dedicated to enhancing the community through the revitalization of key Akron Community Centers, including Patterson Park, Ed Davis, and Reservoir Park. These projects are designed to foster community connection by offering expanded spaces and diverse programming—from concerts and picnics to athletic events—bringing residents together like never before. At Patterson Park, a new 12,400 square foot building will provide increased recreational opportunities and improved ADA accessibility, ensuring that more community members can enjoy the park’s offerings. The Ed Davis project integrates seamlessly with the surrounding park, aiming to strengthen community bonds by creating a welcoming and central gathering space in the heart of Akron. Reservoir Park's renovation of its historic 1933 building will add 4,800 square feet of space for additional programming. Both Akron Mayor Malik and Council Representative Sharon Connor have highlighted the facility's significance to the community, a sentiment beautifully captured in a poem by a local resident (swipe to read)! These enhancements are more than just upgrades; they represent our commitment to building a stronger, more connected Akron.
