?? It’s okay to be scared. We all have places in our hearts that are afraid. But we don’t have to fix it on our own. ?? Instead, we can simply say: ?? "Lord, I don’t want to be afraid anymore. Free me." ? Free me from fear. ? Free me from not fitting in. ? Free me from being afraid of YOU. ?? Deacon Anthony Donatelli ?? @St. Mary Catholic Church Chardon #CatholicChurch #CatholicTeaching #HomilyOfTheDay #JesusSaves #CatholicPreaching

?? Sometimes, life makes us feel like we’re up against a wall. ? Like there’s no way forward. ? Like nothing will ever change. But God CAN take you over that hurdle. ?? He lifts us when we’re stuck. ?? He takes us to the next level. ?? He helps us get where we need to be. But we have to: ?? Trust Him. ?? Hope in Him. ?? Bring every need to Him. ? He will act for us. Will we let Him? ?? Fr. Scott Goodfellow ?? Pastor @smschardon60 | @St. Mary Catholic Church Chardon #Catholic #WordOfGod

?? Suffering can feel meaningless. But the truth is: ?? Your suffering is part of God’s purification process ?? It refines you, making you pure and holy before Him ?? It prepares you for eternal life ?? We pray to be purified in this life, but if we fall short, God in His mercy gives us another chance. Your suffering has a purpose. Will you trust Him in it? ?? @Fr. Michael J. Denk | @frmichael ?? Pastor @St. Matthias the Apostle Church | @saintmatthiaschurch #CatholicChurch #Catholic

Whenever we feel empty, lost, or hopeless—when we’re running out of wine—it’s an invitation to go to Jesus. ?? And sometimes, we need Mary to take us there. ?? Mary’s mission is simple: ?? She brings everyone to Jesus. ?? She intercedes for us, just like she did at Cana. ?? She reminds us that Jesus is the new wine—the one who fills, nourishes, and restores. Are we letting her lead us to Him? ?? Fr. Scott Goodfellow ?? Pastor @smschardon60 | @St. Mary Catholic Church Chardon #Christianity

We’re scared of a lot of things in life: ?? Slipping on black ice. ?? Getting rejected. ?? Even death itself. But if we ask Jesus about our fears, He might just say: ?? "I took care of that one. What else are you scared of?" Yet, when Jesus invites us into a deeper relationship, why do we step away? ?? Why do we fear losing a job, but not fear avoiding Jesus? Maybe it’s time to ask ourselves: What am I really afraid of? ?? Deacon Anthony Donatelli ?? @St. Mary Catholic Church Chardon

?? Life is a journey of constant purification. ?? Suffering purifies us. ?? It helps us let go of sin. ?? It prepares us for holiness. But we are not alone in the fire ?? Jesus is right there, sitting beside you ?? Mary is with you, too—offering comfort and strength Even in suffering, God is working, refining, and transforming you. Will you trust Him in the fire? ?? @Fr. Michael J. Denk | @frmichael ?? Pastor @St. Matthias the Apostle Church | @saintmatthiaschurch #CatholicFaith #Catholic

?? At the Wedding at Cana, Mary tells Jesus, "They have no wine." But Jesus responds, "Woman, how does this concern affect me? My hour has not yet come." Was Jesus dismissing His mother? Not at all. ?? He was asking her: ?? "Are you ready for what this means?" ?? "Are you ready for my divine power to be revealed?" ?? "Are you ready for my path to the cross to accelerate?" ?? Fr. Scott Goodfellow ?? Pastor @smschardon60 | @St. Mary Catholic Church Chardon #CatholicHomily #CatholicFaith

?? "Ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of Christ." – St. Jerome If I don’t know the Word of God, then: ? I don’t truly know who Jesus is. ? I don’t understand what happens at the altar. ? I don’t recognize Christ in the Eucharist. ? I don’t even see Christ in those around me. God’s Word is life! Are we listening? Are we seeking to know Him? ??
