Last week we had the pleasure of attending Gilbane Building Company’s 'Slam Dunk Strategies for Making an Impact' event on March 20th, 2025, at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, MD. Our founder, Craig Williams, participated in a panel discussion with several diverse partner firms sharing our stories and strategies for success in the construction industry. The conversation also included representatives of their clients such as Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Gilbane’s commitment to the communities that they work in was on full display. Today, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve received a transformational gift from Aileen and Brian Roberts and their family to support the creation of Roberts Children’s Health at CHOP. The inpatient complex, which includes a 20-story tower and a revitalization of our existing hospital, is scheduled to open in 2028. It will set a new standard in pediatric care with over 700 private rooms, cutting-edge technology, and enhanced services for families. This $125 million donation, the largest in our 170-year history, continues the Roberts family’s long-standing support and their commitment to shaping the future of pediatric care.
