As we continue into the new year, we’re thrilled to share Pride Across the Bridge’s first-ever Annual Report. This report highlights the incredible work our community has accomplished in 2024 and celebrates the milestones we’ve achieved together. This report captures the heart of our mission: fostering safe, inclusive, and joyful spaces for East King County’s 2SLGBTQIA+ community. This reflection is also a celebration of the people who made it all possible. To our volunteers, partners, and community members: your unwavering support and dedication have helped turn our vision into reality. With the constant rollbacks on our rights and the relentless attacks on our existence, it’s hard to feel anything but exhaustion and frustration. We get it, we see you. We all saw Bezos' mug among too many similar faces- he doesn't care about you, but your trans hairdresser sure does! Check in on and treat your queer fam, it'll mean more than you know! Spread the word and work with local businesses that align with your values—every act of support matters. Use Your Superpower~ -Help shape our mission, vision, and strategy. -Provide oversight for programs, policies, and finances. -Advocate for and uplift the diverse voices of our community. This is more than a monthly commitment—it’s an opportunity to make a meaningful impact throughout the year. As a working board, we’re looking for hands-on superheroes who can contribute their time and expertise flexibly, helping us meet the needs of our vibrant community through governance, events, advocacy, and fundraising. Thank you to Keri Pravitz for the heart embracing support and helping bring us into these incredible spaces, and for taking photos of moments we will look back on and gush over. :) And for spending some of your evening with us on a day that already held so much success for your own family! What a spectacular night, and an incredible boost in the work we are doing to serve our LGBTQIA+ community close to home. Congratulations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, who were at our table and the SWEETEST people! To have our org's names next to each other is an incredible honor. ?? Thank you to everyone who voted in the Bellevue's Community Spotlight Awards, for all of the tireless work of the organizers for this lovely evening, and for doing something that only happens once a decade, surprise me!
