This SOLD-OUT event was filled with elegance, inspiration, and impact, bringing together mental health advocates, community leaders, and supporters to celebrate the power of change. From mentoring young African-American girls to advocating for equitable access to resources, Ngozika exemplifies the power of community service. Her work with organizations like Hugs Not Hunger and Reading Partners Baltimore reflects her commitment to fostering resilience and leadership among those she serves. Ngozika’s dedication aligns with the mission of the PM Legacy Scholarship, which supports students striving to make a meaningful impact in their communities. Since 2019, The Preventive Measures Foundation has awarded over $210,000 in scholarships to nearly 150 students. Genesis Ortega is the Communications Manager for the City of Allentown. She previously served as Regional Affairs and Politics Reporter as well as an on-air TV and radio personality for PBS39 and WLVR News 91.3 FM. Prior to that, she worked for former U.S. Congressman Charlie Dent. In 2019 she was named Hispanic Businessperson of the Year during the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce Excellence in Business Awards. She also serves as a Board member of the Fé Foundation program. Genesis is a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in international management and French from Moravian College.
