When we hosted the wood windows workshop I wasn’t sure who the audience would be – amateurs, enthusiasts, other architects? Turns out it was a lot of people just like me who wanted to maintain their historic windows in a historic way and, like me, found it difficult to learn how. The workshop was our opportunity to share knowledge about a subject that no other organization in Austin offers support for. Today, we are in the final phase of rehabilitation with major structural repairs to the cantilevered roof, a hallmark of the building's Streamline Moderne character.
