We are incredibly grateful to the Charles D. Berry Foundation for their $20,000 contribution toward Preschool Promise’s Birth to 3 programs. This funding will provide intensive professional development and mentoring opportunities for Infant and Toddler teachers, focusing on improving critical early literacy skills in young children. We are another step closer to our goal of providing equitable, high-quality education and care to every child in Montgomery County. Thank you for helping us build a brighter future for our children and families! #infant #toddler #readytoread

Congratulations to our Development Manager, Erika Ward, for completing University of Dayton Center for Leadership Women Lead Program. As UDCL says, "the best leaders never stop learning."
I am so excited to share that yesterday I graduated from the University of Dayton Women Lead program. This journey has been transformative, challenging, and deeply rewarding. Over the last 6 months, I’ve had the privilege of learning alongside an incredible group of women who have inspired me with their strength, wisdom, and resilience. We’ve explored leadership, empowerment, and the unique challenges we face as women in our professional and personal lives. Through it all, I’ve gained a renewed sense of purpose and confidence (and some new besties!). This program allowed me to embrace my authentic self and reinforced the importance of lifting each other up. Here’s to the journey ahead and to all the amazing women who continue to inspire and lead with courage and grace. ??? #womenleadership #leadership #confidence #shinebright #gratitude

Thank you Office of Ohio Governor Mike DeWine for your continued investment in Ohio's children.
Entrepreneurial, Results-Driven Nonprofit Executive | Expert in Public Policy, Government Affairs, Advocacy, Communications & Campaigns | Trusted Elected Leader | Rodel Fellow
Kids WON with Governor Mike DeWine! Governor DeWine really delivered for Ohio kids in his State of the State address this afternoon. While the entire speech was dedicated exclusively to the needs of Ohio’s children from birth to career, he made three major new investments in support of our youngest: 1) created a child care voucher for families up to 200% of FPL so more kids can get an early education and their families can work to provide for them, 2) $85 million in child care access grants to create much-needed child care supply, and 3) evidence-based “Family Connects” home visiting program in 11 pilot counties to reduce disparities in birth outcomes and reduce infant mortality with a commitment to take the program statewide. “The single most important thing we can do for Ohio’s future is to ensure that all Ohio children — no matter where they live, no matter who their parents are — have the opportunity to live up to their God-given potential and that they have the chance to pursue their dreams and their passions in life.” Governor Mike DeWine, April 10, 2024
