Even though it's usually no fun, recipe costing is a critical skill for profitable foodservice businesses. We used a simple, no-bake Chocolate Raisin Energy Bar recipe to practice measuring and pricing out ingredients with trainees and learned a lot in the process about how hard it can be to produce consistent and profitable food ??
