Le Méridien Fort Worth Downtown, the latest addition to Premier’s upscale, full-service, soft-branded boutique hotel design portfolio, marked its soft-opening welcoming guests last week.?A significant historic conservation adaptive reuse and hotel conversion project, Premier co-developed the 14-story 188-guestroom hotel in coordination with Blueprint Hospitality. Owned by Ashford Hospitality Trust and Blueprint Hospitality, and managed by Remington Hospitality, the property held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the completion of its two-and-a-half-year renovation last week. On Tuesday, members of Premier’s Leadership team were proud to join our project partners at the ribbon cutting of the soon-to-officially open Le Méridien Fort Worth Downtown hotel.?Owned by Ashford Hospitality Trust and Blueprint Hospitality, and managed by Premier’s sister company Remington Hospitality, the event marked the completion of the two-and-a-half-year project that saw Premier’s Interior Design, Procurement, and Project Management teams lead the development of this new upscale full-service hotel in downtown Fort Worth. A significant adaptive reuse and hotel conversion project adjacent to Fort Worth’s Convention Center, the delivery of Le Méridien Fort Worth Downtown saw Premier create a 188-guestroom hospitality destination by completely transforming the vacant 14 stories of the Hotel Texas Annex building in the city’s burgeoning downtown entertainment and event district.?More than simply a significant hotel conversion project, Premier co-developed the property in coordination with Blueprint Hospitality, demonstrating Premier’s capabilities as commercial real estate developers, and attesting to the firm’s historic conservation capabilities. Joining Premier Chief Executive Officer Hector A. Sanchez at the event were Ashford Inc. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Monty Bennett, Blueprint Hospitality Chief Executive Officer Kunal Mody, Downtown Fort Worth, Inc. A Premier Project Moment: the renovated guestrooms at the Bridgewater Marriott. For this full-service hotel renovation, Premier’s Interior Design team expertly activated Marriott Hotels’ trend of designing guestrooms with “a private apartment aesthetic.”?In suites with seating areas, Premier’s floorplans for the rooms called for layouts that expressed a “residential” sentiment.?The furniture and fixtures selected by Premier’s Interior Design and Procurement teams are perfectly “homey”, and are accented with finishing décor that would complete a typical upscale modern living room back at home.
