Exciting News from Premiere Events! We are thrilled to share that Premiere Events has been recognized with a Family Business Award with the Austin Business Journal. From our humble beginnings in 2000 as Austin Party Central to becoming Austin's only home-grown, family-owned, and family-operated event rental provider, we’ve come a long way. At the heart of our journey are our core values: Quality, Consistency, Value, Trust, and Caring. Over the years, Premiere Events has grown to four locations across Central Texas and built a reputation for excellence in the event rental industry. From weddings and milestone celebrations to nonprofit fundraisers and corporate events, our family and our team have been privileged to help bring countless events to life. This award honors the hard work, dedication, and collaboration of three generations of the Crum family, who together make Premiere what it is today. It also celebrates the contributions of our entire team, who share in our mission to create memorable experiences and serve our clients and community with care. We are proud of our involvement with incredible organizations like Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas (RMHC CTX), Voices for Children, Inc. CASA of Brazos Valley, and Unlimited Potential, along with many others. Giving back has always been a core part of who we are, and this recognition motivates us to continue making a positive impact. As we look to the future, we remain committed to growing—not just in size, but in our ability to deliver value, invest in our team, and serve the community that has supported us for nearly 25 years. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. This award is for all of us! ?? We are so honored to have been a part of the The REACH Project For The Culture Market hosted at the new Visit College Station building!
Last Saturday was an incredible day for the REACH Project and our entire community! As a community champion for REACH, we are excited to share some of the highlights from our second annual For the Culture Market with you. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for making amazing community celebrations like this possible! A kick-off celebration for Black History Month, as well an opportunity to feature businesses launched through REACH's entrepreneurship programs, REACH's For the Culture Market was a vibrant celebration of culture, entrepreneurship, and the strength of our community. Held February 3rd at the Visit College Station building at College Station City Hall, the event boasted more than 60 local businesses, as well as food trucks, free barbershop services, youth activities, and live performances throughout the day. More than 750 community members joined the celebration - triple the event's size from 2023! Feedback from 60% of our vendors (and all food trucks), proved the event to be a very successful experience for local entrepreneurs as well: 100% of food truck vendors sold out 25% of non-food vendors sold out 46% of vendors had >$400 in sales 3 vendors made over $1,000 >600 points of sale were completed 36 haircuts were provided to both men and women One community member shared: "The (REACH Project's) For the Culture Market exceeded our expectations in every way possible. From the meticulously curated selection of vendors to the enthusiastic engagement of attendees, every aspect of the event showcased a genuine commitment to celebrating diversity and empowering minority-owned businesses. We're incredibly grateful for the opportunity and can't wait to participate again!" The event was hosted by the REACH Project and coordinated by REACH staff Kristen Lachelle & COQUE OLAOSEBIKAN and members of the REACH Community Leaders Subcommittee. These community leaders are participants in REACH's programs who continue to invest in activities and events that engage and better our community. We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our REACH champions and supporters, especially to the City of College Station, Visit College Station, Premiere Events - Austin, Brazos Valley African American Musuem, Texas A&M University, Operation HOPE, Inc. and all the community members and students who participated, attended and volunteered at the 4 The Culture Market. Together, we celebrated our community in a meaningful way that will not soon be forgotten. Thank you again for being part of this extraordinary celebration!
