We're thrilled to announce that Rugby Canada's Women’s Sevens Team, fresh off their silver-medal win in Paris, will join the PR7s All-Star Tournament on Sunday, Nov. 17 at Providence Park in Portland. The tournament will now include a highly anticipated matchup between the silver medal-winning Canadians and the bronze medal-winning USA women’s team. The U.S. and Canadian women, in addition to the U.S. men, will compete against their counterparts from the PR7s All-Stars, which features past Olympians, legends of the game, and other top players. Tickets to witness the event live are available via SeatGeek and broadcast partners will be announced next week. #rugby #rugbysevens #canada

This week, we officially announced that we will host the PR7s All-Star Tournament in Portland on Sunday, Nov. 17, with multiple Olympians. We've heard many describe Portland as the epicenter of women's sports. As a league built on equality, the women of PR7s have been on an equal playing field as the men since we were founded in 2021. We are incredibly proud of what USA Rugby has accomplished, and we look forward to showcasing both the women and the men at Providence Park next month. Today, history was made in Paris for women's rugby! USA Rugby Women, featuring 12 PR7s athletes, earned America's first-ever Olympic medal in rugby sevens, winning the bronze in a dramatic fashion over Australia. Rugby Canada Women, featuring 4 PR7s athletes, claimed the silver medal, their best finish in an Olympic tournament. New Zealand Rugby Women, featuring 5 PR7s athletes, secured their second consecutive Olympic gold medal. The electrifying matches took place in front of 66,000 fans in Paris.
