?? According to STR for the week of May 19-25, 2024, U.S. hotel performance KPIs show: ?? Occupancy increased by +1.6% from 2023 to 67.7%. ?? The average daily rate increased by +2.3% over 2023, to $160.67. ?? Revenue per available room increased by +3.9% from 2023 to $108.73. ?? Among the Top 25 Markets: Houston reported the highest YOY increases in occupancy and RevPAR. ?? Occupancy increased +20.9% to 74.1%. ?? RevPAR increased +29.2% to $89.15. Las Vegas posted the only double-digit increase in ADR of +10.9% to $217.53. Detroit and San Francisco posted the steepest RevPAR declines. ?? Detroit with a decrease of -13.0% to $80.20. ?? The average daily rate increased by +0.8% over 2023, to $157.31. ?? Revenue per available room increased by +2.0% from 2023 to $102.51. ?? Among the Top 25 Markets: New York City reported the highest occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR. ?? Occupancy increased +2.8% to 84.4%. ?? ADR increased +2.6% to $298.98. ?? RevPAR increased +5.5% to$252.46. The lowest occupancy for the month was posted by: ?? Detroit with 58.9%. ?? Minneapolis with 59.3%. The top 25 markets posted higher ADR and occupancy rates than all the other markets.
