On Monday we participated in a wonderful golf tournament supporting and raising money for an incredible organization Wounded Warrior Project Erin Barker, EIT for three years you and everyone at Performance Contracting, Inc. (PCI) have put together an amazing event. Everyone should be incredibly proud of all the hard work you do to bring us all together to raise money for such a great cause. Thank you to Dan Nevins for such a heartfelt and inspiring speech. We can never thank you and all the men and women like you enough for all the sacrifices that you all make, for our safety and freedom. Yesterday, our team of Construction Cleaning Specialists completed the final cleaning of the Bowie State University - Martin Luther King Jr. Communication Arts & Humanities building for their special ribbon cutting ceremony. The new 192,000 square foot facility has a 1,500 seat auditorium, two radio and television studios, an ROTC plaza, an amphitheater, and much more. Statements report that the Perkins&Will design include abstract impressions of vocal soundwaves from a quote in Martin Luther King, Jr.‘s 1964 Nobel Peace Prize Speech throughout the facade and interior. Our team worked diligently in order to get this building ready for the BSU students and faculty. May they all have a stellar 2024-2025 school year. Last night I had a great time getting to know all the ladies of the NAWIC DC Chapter #67 board. Left there feeling empowered and excited. Can’t wait to see all that we will accomplish together being the new board members. This group of ladies are super driven and smart and I know this organization is going to be incredible!

We had an incredible time at last nights Washington Building Congress Cactus Cantina’s networking event. This event is always a must! It’s so nice to connect with everyone and share stories, laughs food and drinks with all our friends in this fun crazy industry. The people that are in this industry really make it all worth it!
