Accelerating the Validation of Predictive Liquid Biomarkers for Frontotemporal Dementia Diagnosis and Subclassification
关于我们
PREDICTFTD aims to revolutionize the diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia (FTD), addressing the challenges of slow and often inaccurate identification, particularly for sporadic cases. Combining data from 11 diverse cohorts and advanced AI technology, the project seeks to validate biomarkers and develop a diagnostic tool for early detection of both familial and sporadic FTD. By implementing a two-phase validation strategy, PREDICTFTD will tackle critical clinical issues, such as distinguishing FTD from similar disorders, identifying pathological subtypes, and predicting pre-symptomatic onset. This initiative promises improved diagnostic accuracy, personalized treatment options, better support for patients and caregivers, and enhanced recruitment for clinical trials.
