We had a great time last week at Roebbelen Contracting, Inc.'s Battle of the Bags Cornhole Tournament! It was a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with industry peers, and we were honored to support such a great cause as both a sponsor and participant. While we didn’t capture many photos (we were too focused on the competition!). One of our teams started strong with a 4-0 record, only to be humbled once the seeded tournament began. Win or lose, it was a great event, and we’re already looking forward to next year!

Providing demolition services across California often takes us to some stunning locations. Recently, we wrapped up a project in San Luis Obispo for GSE Construction Company, Inc., where we demolished a large concrete reservoir wall, slab, and footing as part of a campus water storage expansion and upgrade. Throwback to late last year when our team provided soft demolition expertise across three campuses in the Elk Grove Unified School District. Thanks to bond measures, Elitha Donner ES, Anna Kirchgater ES, and David Reese ES received much-needed renovations and upgrades. Precizion was proud to lay the groundwork for CT BRAYTON & SONS INC to bring these improvements to life. While tasks like removing flooring, ceilings, internal structures, and chipping away at stucco and brick may not be the most glamorous, knowing we're helping create safer, more modern, and effective learning environments for students is what makes it all worthwhile. #SoftDemo #EGUSD

Big changes are happening at the Tulare County Fairgrounds, just outside of Fresno! The site is undergoing a major transformation to make way for a new resiliency center, and W.C. Maloney is leading the charge on demolition. This includes removing five metal and concrete buildings, as well as extensive sitework—fencing, entryway updates, and concrete/asphalt removal. Before demolition could begin, our remediation experts at Professional Asbestos and Lead Services, LLC (PALS) stepped in after an investigation revealed the need for extensive abatement. Our team safely removed hazardous materials, including asbestos floor tiles, lead paint, window glazing, fireproofing, plaster ceilings, and more—ensuring a clean slate for the next phase of construction. We’ll be on-site for a while, but thanks to the seamless collaboration between our demo and remediation teams and California Construction Authority (CCA), this project is off to a strong start! #CountyFair #Demolition #HazardousMaterials #Remediation #ConstructionTransformation

Exciting news! The Precizion Partners team (W.C. Maloney and Professional Asbestos and Lead Services, LLC (PALS)) has once again been recognized for our outstanding safety record, earning a $10,000 Safety Equipment Grant—the maximum awarded to a policyholder—from the CA State Fund. This isn’t the first time our team has received this honor. Previously, we used a similar grant to upgrade our fall protection safety equipment, and we’re committed to putting this latest award to equally good use. Investing in the safety of our team is always a top priority, and we’re grateful for the support that helps us continue to enhance our safety measures. The Early Learning Center project in Vallejo was another successful collaboration between our teams at Professional Asbestos and Lead Services, LLC (PALS) and W.C. Maloney. The facility, once an old and abandoned school, is now getting a second life through a complete remodel. This project involved a full site demolition, including the parking lot and fencing, as well as selective demolition inside to remove asbestos-containing walls and flooring. We also performed concrete cutting to remove old TSI piping, making way for new plumbing. There is still a long way to go before this facility is ready to welcome young learners, but our team was proud to be part of the early stages of its renovation.

Our remediation team is busy throughout California, including our recent role in the renovation of administration and staff buildings at August Boeger Middle School in San Jose. Our team put on our safety suits and additional personal protective equipment (PPE) to demo the walls, ceilings, floors, and external facing of the school. With potentially hazardous materials in all these components, GCs need a partner who knows how to handle the immediate abatement of any concerning materials. Alongside our industry peers, we connected with many bright, hardworking students pursuing degrees in Construction Management and various engineering disciplines to discuss long-term career opportunities and the chance to gain real-world experience through our upcoming Summer Internship Program.
