In honor of Women's history month, we are recognizing a few women that had impacts on the modern ERP system. The technological foundations for ERP systems, including programming languages, networking protocols, and data management techniques, were shaped by the contributions of women like Ada Lovelace, Grace Hopper, and Radia Perlman.? Ada Lovelace (1815-1852): Widely considered the first computer programmer, she wrote the first algorithm intended to be processed by a machine, Charles Babbage's Analytical Engine Grace Hopper (1906-1992): A computer scientist and US Navy Rear Admiral, she is known for her work on early programming languages, including COBOL, and for popularizing the concept of "debugging".? Radia Perlman (1951-present): A computer scientist and network engineer, she is known as the "Mother of the Internet" for her work on the Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), a fundamental algorithm for modern internet routing.? #womenshistorymonth #erp
