Our team at Precision Plumbing has been hard at work on the brand new Asia exhibit at the North Carolina Zoo — a massive 12.5-acre expansion set to open in 2026! This future home to tigers, Komodo dragons, small-clawed otters, king cobras, white-cheeked gibbons, and more will give guests an up-close look at some of the most incredible species in the world — but what they won't see is all the behind-the-scenes plumbing that makes it possible. Working with expert zoologists and Roger Builders, Inc., Precision Plumbing has been designing and installing: - Habitat drinkers for the animals - Reverse osmosis filtration system - Kitchens, bathrooms, and staff facilities - Water features & drainage systems (like the otters' future splash zone!) ? Update from our mission trip team in Honduras! ? Through the direction of the project manager Dave Calvert, and some of that famous Precision Plumbing experience, the team has been making lots of progress at the Iglesia Bethel Church where they feed over 300 children a week! They've been hard at work renovating bathroom spaces, restoring running water to the kitchen, painting common areas, and even laying tile. But it's not all work! They have lots of opportunities to enjoy fellowship with the pastoral team, break bread with the local community, and enjoy the beautiful sights and landscape of the area. Did you know that some of our team is currently on a mission's trip in Honduras? ?? They left this weekend with @finishthework_clt to help finish the construction of a local church for the community there. Yesterday they sent us some photo updates of their outreach with 40 orphans by bringing them Operation Christmas Child Boxes! We are so proud of our team, and will share more updates as we receive them. Precision Plumbing is proud to be part of the work happening at the Charlotte Pipe & Foundry’s new Product Knowledge Training Center alongside Barringer Construction! Our team has been hard at work, and it’s exciting to see the progress being made on-site. Recently, the crew completed running gas lines on the roof for the AC units, ensuring efficient climate control for the building. Meanwhile, work is underway in the basement, where new lift station pumps are being installed in the drainage tank to support proper water removal. A huge thank you to our dedicated crew and partners for their hard work and commitment to this project. With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Charlie Brown, Sr., co-founder of Precision Plumbing. Charlie Sr. was more than a leader—he was a mentor, a friend, and a man whose dedication laid the foundation for the company we are today. His hard work, integrity, and unwavering commitment to excellence built not just a business, but a family. His legacy lives on in the craftsmanship he instilled, the values he upheld, and the countless lives he touched. While we mourn his passing, we take comfort in knowing he is at peace in the arms of Christ. Yesterday, we hit pause on the workday for a little fun, laughter, and friendly competition at our Precision Plumbing Family Feud Lunch & Office Party! It was our way of showing appreciation for our hardworking team and bringing everyone together for some well-deserved fun.
