Our November Business Conditions Report reveals an improving outlook among metalforming manufacturers, with 23% forecasting increased activity (up from 13% in October) and 30% anticipating higher orders in the next three months. Current shipping levels show notable improvement, with 26% of companies reporting increased levels compared to just 10% last month. While economic uncertainties persist, the metalforming sector demonstrates continued resilience, with 26% of companies actively expanding their workforce despite ongoing challenges in the manufacturing landscape.
