The Arizona Trucking Association (ATA) announced the winners of the 2023 Fleet Safety?Awards, recognizing outstanding performance and dedication to safety in the trucking industry.? The judges evaluated each fleet’s accident rate in relation to their total Arizona miles, as well as their Inspection Out of Service Rate in SAFER. Additional factors such as workplace safety, community outreach, driver recognition programs, and contributions to enhancing the image of the trucking industry were also considered. Precision Heavy Haul, Inc. was the winner of the mileage category 1 to 500,000 miles. We are honored by the recognition and proud of our team for their hard work, dedication, and safety awareness. Precision Heavy Haul is Over the Hill! Precision Heavy Haul just celebrated its 40th anniversary! Our business longevity stands as a testament to our hard work, dedication, and support from everyone who has played a role in our journey! Mike started the business in 1984 at the young age of 24, with a 1967 Kenworth and a 60-ton lowboy with booster axle. Mike quickly grew his reputation by word of mouth for his quality work and on time delivery. In 40 years, Mike’s hair is a bit greyer, but his work ethics remain the same with a dedication to quality and precision. PHH has continued to grow and diversify through the decades since Mike has been able to find a niche in meeting specialized equipment demands that other local companies do not offer. Over the last 40 years, Precision has not wavered from what it was built on, the fleet has grown to 16 tractors and 150+ trailer combinations, which not only accommodates the specialty field but also the everyday loads. Precision has proven its expertise in every phase of the heavy haul and rigging industry by going above and beyond! Our diversified fleet and creative engineering can meet the challenges of almost any shipment; we offer the finest and safest service in the Southwest. With that being said, Precision Heavy Haul, Inc. has won the 2024 Fleet Safety Award from the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association. PHH has also won the 2024 Zero Accidents Award. The SC&RA Fleet Safety Award is given to member companies with the lowest accident frequency rate in different mileage categories. Precision Heavy Haul earned top honors for having the lowest accident frequency rate among others in the industry. The SC&RA Zero Accidents Award is given to member companies having zero recordable accidents or incidents during the previous year. To receive these awards, we had to prove outstanding achievements in transportation and heavy haul. This is a worldwide recognition, and we were voted the best in safety for these two categories again! This is a testament to PHH’s philosophy of safety and taking pride in the work that we do every day. We are a team dedicated to doing the job the right way every time and not only meeting the standards but exceeding them!
