When prescribing gets delayed, this is often the reason... Brand marketers know that prior authorizations and step edits can create major friction in prescribing decisions. But too often, these restrictions aren't clear upfront- leading to last-minute callbacks, frustrated providers and treatment delays. One reason? HCPs don't always have visibility into the criteria for use when making prescribing decisions. Without this context, access conversations can be reactive instead of strategic. That's why access strategy needs to go beyond just formulary coverage. It needs to equip HCPs with the right information at the right time.
