For the Love of Family, Take the MindCrowd Test! Every memory shared, every laugh, every hug—our brain health helps us stay connected to the ones we love. That’s why understanding how our brains age is so important! MindCrowd is a quick, 10-minute memory game that helps researchers understand how our brains age. The more people who play, the more we can learn about keeping our minds strong for years to come. See the link in our bio to play today and be part of something bigger! #ForTheLoveOfFamily #MindCrowd #PrecisionAgingNetwork
关于我们
The Precision Aging Network (PAN) is a multidisciplinary initiative addressing brain aging from a unique perspective. We are committed to a comprehensive national study spanning five years, examining the impacts of genetics, environment, and personal habits on brain health during aging. Our primary aim - the prediction, prevention, and delay of brain function decline. We actively explore avenues to improve quality of life throughout aging, with in-depth research across various projects. Starting online with memory tests via MindCrowd, progressing to in-person physical health and behavioral examinations, we are steadily creating a nationwide age-related memory profile. Eligibility is open to anyone, particularly individuals between 50-79 years. We conduct our studies across four national locations including the University of Arizona, University of Miami, Johns Hopkins University, and Emory University. At PAN, our ultimate ambition is harnessing knowledge about brain aging to develop solutions that can prevent or slow memory loss. Join us on this journey towards achieving a better understanding and healthier future. Take the first step and contribute to our research via MindCrowd.

Dr. Levin is passionate about helping people stay sharp and independent as they age. As a professor of neurology and director of neuropsychology at the University of Miami, she dives deep into how physical, emotional, and cognitive changes impact aging. Her research focuses on big questions like: ?? How can we stay healthy in both body and mind? ?? What’s the link between our emotions and brain health? ?? How can we keep living in the homes we love as we grow older? When she’s not working to improve lives, you’ll find her on the water—whether it’s fishing, snorkeling, kayaking, or paddleboarding—or experimenting with new recipes from around the world. For Dr. Levin, cooking is the ultimate way to relax, especially with some jazz, classical, or world music playing in the background. She’s not just shaping the future of aging—she’s living her best life doing what she loves! #HealthyAging #Neuropsychology #AgingWithPurpose #LifeWellLived #Inspiration

It’s Super Bowl Sunday! Did you know watching sports can boost your brain’s mirror neurons? These neurons help us process movement and strategy, making you feel like you're in the game! (Iacoboni, 2005, Annual Review of Neuroscience) ???? So whether you're cheering or analyzing plays like a pro, your brain is getting a healthy workout too. Enjoy the game! ???? #SuperBowlSunday #BrainPower #PrecisionAging

Optimism isn’t just a mindset—it’s good for your health! A study published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences found that higher levels of optimism are associated with a longer lifespan and a greater likelihood of living past 85. Optimistic individuals tend to experience lower stress, better heart health, and a stronger immune system (Lee et al., 2019). So keep smiling, keep moving, and keep believing in the good! ??? #OptimistDay #HealthyMindHealthyBody

Ever wonder why some people’s brains seem to age more slowly than others? Or what we can do to keep our memory sharp as we get older? That’s exactly what Dr. Matt Huentelman studies. As the founding scientist of MindCrowd at TGen, he’s spent years digging into how our DNA shapes brain health—and how we might one day prevent Alzheimer’s. With 275+ scientific publications, his work is helping us understand that brain aging isn’t one-size-fits-all. Everyone’s different, and so are the solutions. When he’s not in the lab, you might find him hitting the gym, biking through the Arizona desert, or making homemade ice cream (which he’s just as good at eating as he is at making ??). We’re lucky to have Dr. Huentelman as part of PAN! ???♂???♂? #MindCrowd #BrainHealth #PrecisionAging #Neuroscience
