We work everyday with executives and managers to improve time, tolerance and total cost by providing a modern manufacturing facility that is large for the jobs you need but small enough for the attention to every detail. The company was founded in 1974, and started off as a quick turn around small parts manufacturer. Over the next few years the business grew and expanded from a CNC machine shop to much more by building special machinery and prototype equipment for several local industries, in our home town of Rochester, NY and beyond. Straight oil as coolant!? Yes, and it rocks. Here’s why. ?? _ Oil-based coolants offer exceptional lubrication, reducing friction and wear on tools. Some #machinist describe it as offering a “cushion” that regular coolant can’t match. It also helps prolong the life of #cutting tools, including excellent rust protection, safeguarding both tools and workpieces. _ The trade off is that Oil-based coolants are less effective at dissipating heat, can produce mist or smoke, and make cleanup more labor-intensive, often requiring solvents. _ Overall, when you weigh all the factors, including the materials involved, safety, and operational priorities, oil based coolant can offer massive upsides you just won’t get from regular coolant.
