Your words shape your world. Every time you say “I am,” you’re not just speaking—you’re creating. Your mind, your spirit, your body—they’re all listening. Today, speak like someone stepping boldly into the person God created you to become: • Replace “I can’t” with a powerful, truth-filled “I am.” • Write down your top 3 faith-driven declarations—repeat them daily. • Speak life boldly over one specific challenge today. Words hold power. Choose yours wisely and watch your world transform.

When Jay Leno invited Captain Ethan LeBerge for a ride in his shiny red muscle car, the soldier had no idea he would walk away from the experience as the proud new owner of a 2015 Dodge Hellcat. The former Tonight Show host, who traveled to Afghanistan in October to entertain troops as part of a Today Show USO tour, said that they conducted a lottery at the time to select one service member to be awarded a special prize. LeBerge ended up being that lucky soldier. LeBerge survived a suicide bombing in Afghanistan, where he lost 2 of his good buddies. He is on the road to recovery after no less than 10 surgeries to repair the injuries he received. Credit: Lillian Whitfield

“The Iowa Hawkeyes have created a children’s hospital that overlooks the stadium. Only the kids in the hospital and their families can be in that part of the hospital on game days. After the first quarter, they ask everyone in the stadium to turn around and wave to the kids. Way to go, Iowa... that’s amazing! Let’s keep this little girl and all the kids in the hospital and around the world who are facing tough times in our thoughts and prayers!” 🙏🏻

Patience is not just about waiting—it’s about being fully present with others. When we take the time to listen and engage truly, we show love in a way that mirrors Christ’s own patience with us. Whoever is patient has great understanding, but one who is quick-tempered displays folly. (Proverbs 14:29) Practice patience by listening attentively to someone who needs to be heard today.

In 1969, a year after Martin Luther King Jr. was killed, Black people still weren't allowed to swim in "whites-only" pools. On May 9, 1969, Mister Rogers sent a powerful message on his show, Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. He invited Officer Clemmons, a Black police officer played by François Clemmons, to join him. Mister Rogers asked if he wanted to cool off by dipping his feet in a small wading pool. At first, Clemmons said no because he didn't have a towel. But Mister Rogers smiled and said, "You can share mine." Then, the two of them sat side by side, feet in the water-breaking the color barrier right on live TV.

Consistency isn’t just discipline—it’s grace in action. We often think consistency means being rigid, unwavering, and perfectly disciplined. But life isn’t always predictable, and neither are our circumstances. Real consistency, from a Christian perspective, means faithfully adapting each day to the opportunities God provides. • Short on time? Offer God your best in the moments you have. • Low on energy? Take small, manageable steps of obedience. • Facing unexpected obstacles? Adjust your approach with grace and flexibility. Paul reminds us, “I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances” (Philippians 4:11). True consistency reflects adaptability guided by faith. God doesn’t expect perfection—He seeks our faithful willingness, day by day. Today’s encouragement: Let your consistency reflect adaptability rooted in faith, guided by grace.
