Legal Netlink Alliance North America Spring Meeting opened with a powerful presentation by Alan Armstrong, CEO of Williams, a Fortune 500 group of companies that have been powering the US with clean natural gas for more than a century. In the context of cutting down carbon dioxide emissions and reducing air pollution, Mr Armstrong says that natural gas meets the trifecta for energy solutions - clean energy, reliable and affordable. With 217 operating coal plants currently in the USA, switching from coal to natural gas could cut CO2 emissions of the power industry by 27%. #linkingvalues
