2025 Business Venture Spotlight: Sky Harvest, creating carbon credits and selling them to corporate customers to offset their emissions. Sky Harvest sells carbon credits to offset greenhouse gas emissions by paying small-acreage and underserved timberland operators in the United States to refrain from harvesting timber they would otherwise cut. In a new Carbon 2.0 framework, fewer credits issued ensures that each credit properly and completely offsets the negative climate impact of emissions elsewhere. Passionate about fixing carbon markets and finding solutions to the climate issue, Sky Harvest works on the ORI of Large-Scale Innovation For Environmental Stewardship. Co-Founder & CEO Will Clayton founded Sky Harvest in October 2021. Previously, he served as the Chief of Staff at Strata, where he architected the corporate strategy and led the successful turnaround of an underperforming division. Will earned a BA in Economics as a Morehead Scholar from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Learn more about Will Clayton and Sky Harvest at https://lnkd.in/eirDcmbB
