Today is World Down Syndrome Day, a global awareness day that has been officially observed by the United Nations since 2012. Individuals with Down Syndrome may qualify for disability benefits and other protections under federal and state law. We are deeply saddened to share the passing of our former colleague, Jack Porter. Jack worked at PSLS as an attorney for 20 years. He served hundreds of clients and their families with dedication, ability and humor. He always said, “One of our jobs is to have more fun than the other side.” Those who worked with Jack knew him as a wonderful colleague and friend.
