On this day, we call our citizens in action to support and recognize law enforcement. Thank you to our police service members for all that you do. Your willingness to endanger your own life while protecting ours is a true testament to your courage and concern for the communities you serve. To you and your families, thank you. #PrairieProud

  • Our first staff spotlight of 2025 belongs to Jordan B., who has been with us for nearly one year working with adolescents. Jordan is a mental health technician and is pursuing a career in substance abuse counseling. Jordan says, "My work is meaningful to me because I care deeply for people. I strive to be as helpful and caring as I can every day to help provide the quality care that my patients deserve." Jordan continues, "Prairie St. John's has been wonderfully rewarding! I get to work with outstanding people who all have a passion for helping others. I wake up happy and excited to go to my job because of the staff and culture here that provides an excellent service to those who are seeking it. The individuals who enter our facility come in at low points in their lives. The work that is done at PSJ changes that and gives them hope. It's a blessing to see the changes people make." Thank you, Jordan, for leading with a kind and compassionate nature. Our patients and your co-workers are fortunate to have you on their team! #PrairieProud

  • Nancy N. is closing 2024's spotlights for us. Nancy is one of our Licensed Clinical Social Workers and also serves as a therapist and discharge planner. She shares, "I love having the opportunity to help people! Patients are often anxious and feel alone when they enter treatment and knowing I am here to listen to them and advocate for them means so much to me. It is so rewarding to see all the changes they make along the way regaining their self-worth and rebuilding their lives." Nancy adds, "I work with an amazing team of people as well, all working towards the same goal of helping our patients improve their lives." She continues, "Sometimes people just get lost in life. We are all human. There is still stigma surrounding mental health and addiction and having the courage to come into treatment is huge. I want people to know it is okay to ask for help, that there are people out there that truly care. We all deserve happiness!" PSJ is incredibly fortunate to have Nancy caring for the people who pass through our doors. Her heart is truly remarkable! #PrairieProud
