It was such a joy to come home and work with the Fly Girlz yesterday. In the spirit of ringing in the new year, the girls popped balloons filled with the negative things from this year to symbolize letting go. Afterwards, they created blessing banks, focusing on being grateful for the many opportunities and moments of the 2024 year. What a great way to celebrate prior to going into 2025!

Last week, I had the honor of participating in the UNCF Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Impact Pitch Competition. From 350 applications, 50-60 were considered, 25 submitted their business, and only 8 were chosen to pitch. I feel incredibly grateful to have been among the founders selected to pitch! A heartfelt thank you to my mentor throughout the competition, Tremain Davis, for your invaluable feedback and unwavering support. A special thank you to the selection committee for choosing me to participate in this inaugural event!
