Last weekend, the Raíz Program hosted a Latine Heritage Month celebration dedicated to mental health and self-care. Nide Jardin was very welcoming and helped us create a safe space for folks to come together and talk about mental health stigma in Latine communities and ways to prioritize self-care in a culturally competent way. We were also excited to have State Representative Barbara Hernandez as a special guest.
