PPI’s Building & Construction Division was very active throughout 2024, publishing seven new or revised technical publications related to design and installation of plastic pressure pipe materials. Access them all at https://lnkd.in/ewxaPXpp One of these was a major revision to PPI TN-52 “Guide to High Temperature Applications of Non-potable PEX Pipe and Tubing Systems”. This document explains why a marking of “80 psi @ 200°F” on PEX tubing does not mean that the material is intended for continuous operation at temperatures up to 200°F.
