With 120 Level 2 light-duty charger plugs officially energized, EV owners at the complex and prospective buyers are now fully equipped with the charging infrastructure they need. I wear two hats and very often they compliment each other nicely and here is one such example. In addition to my role at Powerup EV Solutions I am also actively involved in a number of real estate development projects. Recently we submitted plans for a new 122 unit multi family development. While there were currently no mandatory requirements for the installation of EV chargers It was comforting to see this comment in the county’s plan review “This project presents an opportunity to advance the goals of the New York State Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (the Climate Act) through the inclusion of electric vehicle charging stations. With United States automakers predicting that approximately one-half of new vehicle sales will be electric by 2030, the availability of charging stations will likely be a positive attraction for the site and its residents. This department urges the Town and the applicant to take advantage of this opportunity and include this important infrastructure in the proposed site improvements.” Our response to this was a resounding yes! They’re will definitely be ample EV Chargers on this site

This was a record install for us 6 Tesla EV chargers installed in less than 48 hours at this local community bank powered by a new dedicated electric service All that remains is the utility company to install their meter and this property now has an excellent amenity for their employees and clients On to the next!
