Air Liquide?is a key player across the entire hydrogen value chain - from production, distribution and storage to the development of end-use applications. ? As part of our Series A second close, this investment will accelerate our ability to deploy commercial Hybrid Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM) electrolysis systems and scale up production of our Hybrid AEM electrolyzer?technology. ? After beginning his?career with the?General Motors fuel cell?program, Gary led multiple startups, including helping take one of them public as Founder and CTO. In this role at Power to Hydrogen, he will lead strategic initiatives to accelerate the commercialization of our breakthrough electrolyzer technology, helping to advance hydrogen production and energy storage solutions. With a strong background in clean?energy?and a passion for sustainable?technologies, Gary’s leadership will be instrumental in guiding our growth and expanding our impact in the renewable energy sector. Acario, thanks for inviting Alex Zorniger, Power to Hydrogen Chief Commercial Officer, to be a part of your panel at the Cleantech Group North American Cleantech Forum. The panel was about the post-election state of hydrogen and what's next for 2025. While regulatory uncertainty persists with the new U.S. administration, we continue to see 100% YOY growth in deployed electrolysis systems throughout the globe. We're also seeing some of the largest electrolyzer system deployments in history reach commissioning this year. While transitioning to advanced and clean energy systems will never be a smooth ride, clean hydrogen continues to gain a further foothold in the energy ecosystem every year. It was great to connect with the other panelists, including Hans Maenhout from Finindus, Jourdan Urbach from Levelized Capital, and Nigel A. Carr from Acario.

By releasing the final rules, they’ve made a crucial step in accelerating the clean energy transition. This is a landmark moment for the hydrogen industry, offering significant incentives and clarity that will drive investment and innovation. Here's why?the rule changes will be a gamechanger compared to the initial release: Clarity on Production Methods: The rules clarify how various hydrogen production methods, including those using renewable energy, can qualify for the tax credit. Focus on Clean Energy: The new rules prioritize hydrogen produced with low lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions.?Importantly, nuclear will have added flexibility to support large scale electrolysis projects Support for Electrolysis: The rules include important safeguards for temporal matching, deliverability, and incrementality, encouraging the use of new clean energy sources while balancing overly restrictive regulations Blue Hydrogen: The agency did a nice job of creating a clarified landscape for blue hydrogen tax credits. ???FUNDING ALERT ???NYSERDA recently announced a new round of funding to support the development of hydrogen and clean fuels for New York's Net Zero plan. As part of this recent award, Power to Hydrogen won $1M to continue the development of our innovative AEM Electrolysis technology. The funding will go towards demonstrating cell and component manufacturing at a rate faster than 1x/minute to meet GW-scale product demand.
