We are pleased to announce that Shivani Ganguly has joined Power to Hydrogen as Chief Financial Officer! Shivani brings over 20 years of experience developing financial and leadership teams at startups and large corporates, including previous roles in both solar and hydrogen. Her extensive experience will play a critical role in advancing our mission to develop cutting-edge hydrogen solutions as more of our work turns towards First-of-a-Kind deployments and project finance. We are excited to welcome Shivani to the team and know she will be a critical addition driving our success forward.

Thank you to the Ohio Energy Conference for putting together a great panel with P2H2 Chief Commercial Officer Alex Zorniger, ARCH2 Hub Director Shawn Bennett, and Brite Programs Director Jing Lyon! Ohio holds great potential for decarbonization with clean hydrogen and for being a leader in the supply chain and manufacturing of these critical energy technologies. Leveraging the automotive supply chains in Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania will be essential for America to lead in this rapidly growing industry. It's great to see hydrogen continue to be a key topic for the Ohio Energy ecosystem as a whole.

Funding Alert! ?? We're excited to announce that Power to Hydrogen has been awarded $1M from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to help scale up our electrode synthesis process. ?? As part of the new Roll-to-Roll consortium, leading technology developers in the hydrogen space will partner with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory to conduct cooperative research on component scale-up. The overall funding goal is to advance efficient, scalable, high-throughput, and high-quality processes for manufacturing fuel cell and electrolyzer materials. ?? Power to Hydrogen is proud to be named as a finalist for the Grid Catalyst 2025 Demonstration Cohort, alongside eight other exceptional energy startups. This unique program, sponsored by Cummins Inc., Trane, CenterPoint Energy, and more, focuses on pilots, which can help bring our low-cost electrolysis technology to the market faster and more effectively. These companies are looking for lower-cost clean hydrogen produced from renewable resources, and we are ready to meet that challenge. We are excited to announce that we've been selected to participate in the Plug & Play Smart Cities Accelerator based in Orlando. Plug and Play Smart Cities conducted a search across the nation for startups that can become a driver of urban planning and innovation. We are honored to be included as part of the 2024 cohort. Areas of focus include: Mobility, IoT, Real Estate & Construction, and Energy & Sustainability. During the program, we'll work with corporate sponsors like Duke Energy, Nextera, and others to define opportunities to make our cities cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable.

Today marks the next phase at Power to Hydrogen as we announce the closing of our Series A fundraising round. A total of $18M in new capital is coming to Power to Hydrogen from leading financial and industrial investors across the globe, along with U.S. and European government support. Rev1 Ventures and Worthington Enterprises are leading the investment round. “We welcome an excellent mix of new investors, including the leading investor in the Midwest of the United States, two of the most successful hydrogen investors over the last decade, and strategic partners spanning Australia, Japan, North America, and Europe,” said Power to Hydrogen Founder and CEO, Dr. Paul Matter. The world needs to bring down the cost of hydrogen technologies at each stage of the value chain. Power to Hydrogen's low-cost electrolyzers, which tie directly into renewable energy and produce high-pressure hydrogen (250 bar), can reduce CAPEX and inefficiencies at each level of the hydrogen production, storage, and transportation process. The Series A funding will go towards demonstrating these capabilities in commercial projects at the industrial scale.
