Founded in 1946, Power Drives, Inc. (PDI) designs, manufactures and distributes pneumatic and hydraulic components, assemblies and systems. As a distributor, we represent some of the most prominent global brands. As a manufacturer, we provide OEM with engineered hose and tube assemblies from prototypes to high production quantities. For MRO, we repair and custom build assemblies at our multiple locations. In addition, PDI custom designs and builds skid systems for fluid and pneumatic applications, including a proprietary idle reduction technology for the locomotive market. The Power Drives core principle is to understand customer applications, requirements and goals, and partner with them to provide end-to-end custom solutions. Our philosophy is to provide engineering expertise and innovative solutions of the highest quality. PDI's quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:IATF 16949:2016. The Diesel Dehydrator removes water and filters particulate from diesel fuel. Other products for rail operations include hose, fittings, couplings and assemblies for pneumatic, hydraulic, and fluids.

Preventive Maintenance Saves the Day! 🌟 A routine Preventive Maintenance Inspection (PMI) helped this customer catch a serious issue before disaster struck. During an inspection, they found a leaking battery had nearly dissolved the hydraulic hose fittings—a dangerous situation that could have led to leaks, toxic fumes, and major equipment damage.
