Another day, another Water House! Our Haitian team successfully installed the filtration system at the Madame Pierre build, but it was no easy feat. The well is situated far down a mountain, so with the Water House constructed up by the village, they had to dig underground all the way up for the pipes and haul all the equipment uphill. Our staff showed incredible resilience and managed to transport everything up the mountain and set it all up! Despite ongoing challenges in Haiti, they persist in their mission to provide clean water for all. This project requires extensive digging and pipe laying, but we're committed to seeing it through. With our Water House systems, our incredible urban farm partners in the US were able to collect over 3000 gallons of rainwater to grow over 800 pounds of fresh, nutrient dense produce last season! Not only was he able to learn to operate and install this new pump with speed and efficiency, but he also prioritizes each staff member knowing everything about every part of the project.
