The event was attended by key stakeholders, including the team's management, players, and representatives from PostBank and Crown Beverages Limited. In her opening remarks, Priscilla Akora, head of marketing at PostBank, warmly welcomed everyone and acknowledged the significant strides made by women in sports, despite the existing disparities in recognition and support. "We are honored to celebrate the Gazelles, who have flown the Ugandan flag high and broken the glass ceiling for women in sports and young girls," she said. PostBank announced its commitment to supporting the team as they prepare for the upcoming AfroBasket tournament, in partnership with Crown Beverages.
