Going back to New York City is always a treat! Last week, I got to host a great group at our Gainbridge table for the Women's Sports Foundation Salute to Women in Sports. Tremendous evening celebrating the growth of the foundation that Billie Jean King started 50 years ago. They do amazing work! AND ... Billie Jean King herself came over to our table and we got a nice photo. While in NYC, Mike Nichols and I toured the ESPN studios thanks to Nolan Murphy and Michelle Smallmon, co-host of the ESPN Radio/ESPN2 show, UnSportsmanLike. That was neat. My favorite thing about the sports world is connection. Was very cool to have my old PGA TOUR colleague Jackie O'Keefe at our table. Jackie founded her own PR company in NYC and is doing amazing things. Also got to spend in person time with PARITY | A Group 1001 Company CEO Leela Srinivasan. Made some new connections too: Mandy Anderson, Jan Liebchen, Christina Napolitano, Mandy Anderson and Khristina Williams. I sat next to Khristina at the event and she's a star WNBA content creator. If you follow basketball, check out her content. She went right from the gala to covering the WNBA Finals!
