Positive Change Movement (PCM) is a dedicated nonprofit organization founded to champion the health, advocacy, and empowerment of people living with HIV (PLHIV) and marginalized communities. Our mission is rooted in equity, dismantling stigma, and driving meaningful change through innovative programs, education, and reform. At PCM, we believe in the transformative power of peer support and community-driven advocacy. We work tirelessly to ensure that PLHIV and individuals at risk have access to comprehensive care, resources, and opportunities. Our initiatives include implementing a statewide Community Health Worker (CHW) program led by peers with lived experience, advocating for the modernization of HIV criminalization laws, and providing education to end stigma and discrimination. Through a combination of outreach, education, and policy reform, we strive to create a world where health disparities are reduced, stigma is eradicated, and all individuals, regardless of their health status, can thrive. Our programs extend across Kentucky, with the vision of fostering positive change wherever inequality or stigma exists. Positive Change Movement is committed to the Meaningful Involvement of People Living with HIV/AIDS (MIPA), ensuring that the voices of those impacted by HIV are at the forefront of every decision. By fostering collaboration among stakeholders, allies, and communities, PCM builds bridges to equity, understanding, and inclusiveness. Join us in transforming lives and communities. Positive Change Movement is a nonprofit organization focused on empowering people living with HIV (PLHIV) and marginalized communities through advocacy, peer support, and systemic reform. Our mission is to end HIV stigma, promote equity, and champion health and resilience—starting in Kentucky and wherever stigma exists. We’re seeking board members who: ?
