?? BREAKING NEWS out of #Virgina! VA Extends Reporting Deadline to May 1, 2024? Emergency regulations governing the Virginia #prescription #drugpricingtransparency program lapsed on January 15, 2024. The 2024 General Assembly passed House Bill 592, extending the emergency regulations governing this program. If signed by the Governor, House Bill 592 will provide for maintaining the emergency rules retroactively from January 15, 2024, until Final Regulations are adopted and implemented. Virginia Health Information extended the reporting deadline from April 1, 2024, to May 1, 2024, as the Governor has not yet signed the legislation. All data reporting entities must submit reporting requirements or a no data attestation for the 2023 reporting period by May 1, 2024. New Mexico State Drug Reporting Law - On March 1st, the Governor of New Mexico signed House Bill 33, which will become effective on January 1, 2025. This Law establishes the Prescription Drug Price Transparency Act by amending the New Mexico Insurance Code. ?? Connecticut Marketing Firm Annual Reporting Form—The Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection has released the Marketing Firm Annual Reporting Form. Manufacturers that employ pharmaceutical sales representatives must register with the Department annually as a pharmaceutical marketing firm. Registration expires annually on June 30th.
