Portsmouth Humane

The Portsmouth Humane is one of the longest-serving Humane Societies in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Portsmouth Humane is dedicated to caring for homeless animals in the community by promoting their adoptions into loving, homes. Portsmouth Humane provides humane education and community outreach programs so that we may begin to decrease the pet overpopulation. Our mission is to create a safe, compassionate, inclusive community for people and animals through education and resource programs that elevate animal welfare standards and champion the human-animal bond.
